Welcome, All Fantasy Lovers!
Prelude of Fire is the first book in The Gailean Quartet, my high stakes YA epic fantasy series (bordering on NA as characters grow older) with found family, elemental and musical magic, good vs. evil quests, diversity and disability rep, intrigue inside castle walls, dashes of no spice romance, and emotional stories with twists, turns, and characters who must choose to become the hero or villain of their tale.

Readers thus far have compared the series to "if Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings had a baby," the Throne of Glass series (though with no spice), Eragon, Narnia, The Legend of Zelda, Six of Crows, and a YA version of Game of Thrones (without all the gore, language, and spice). These are all super big compliments to me! If you love any of those stories, I hope you'll consider giving The Gailean Quartet a shot.
